Hah, I found this pic of me a little over a year ago. It's really terrible, but to tell you all the truth, I had a particularly nasty cheat day, and now I feel terrible. I'm sick of being enslaved to the unhealthy stuff...it's like I want to eat it, even knowing how bad I feel afterwards. Anyway, I broke out the photo album, and you'll finally get the before/after of good ol' Shafe. It's more to give me a kick in the pants to get back on track more than anything. Look for the post tomorrow.

Alright, I found the rest of the pics. So time to reveal my ordeal I suppose...I went ahead and put them in my journal, which can be found here (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showthread.php?t=7979) .

I can't believe that is the same person in those before/after pics...wow.
That gives me a lot of inspiration!

Thanks Chris. I just noticed the t-shirt I'm wearing in that picture, and realized that this summer was my first shirtless one. It's personal milestones like that which really rev up the motivational engine.

Wow man, that's some very inspirational stuff there.
I'm in a somewhat similar situation when you started. Currently 6' 305 with about 100 lbs to cut.
I must ask an obligatory question for the rest of us looking to loose a massive amount of weight. Do you have loose skin anywhere? Judging from the pics in your journal, I would say no. But the pics are a bit dark and I was wondering if the darkness was hiding any.
But again, great job and thanks for sharing. :tu:

Well, I do have some loose skin on my arms, but not really anywhere else! I'm fairly lucky as far as that goes. I had some pretty nasty stretch marks on my torso a little while back, but they've faded and I've tanned over them. With me being 19 and all, it shouldn't be too hard to tighten up/fill in the loose skin. The only products I've used for the stretch mark is the cocoa butter cream stuff. (There's nothing I love more than jumping in a Wal-Mart checkout line so the hot clerk chick can scan my pregnancy stretch mark cream :o ...lol). It helped them fade a little bit faster in my opinion. As far as loose skin in older people...I'm clueless, though I have heard of creatine cream being used for fine lines/wrinkles, so perhaps it tightens skin somewhat? Just a thought. Hope that helps!
