142MB of memory with only a few tabs open! Firebird usually only uses ~50MB on my machine.

For some reason this forum makes it slow to a crawl and eat memory like crazy. Anyone else experiencing similar problems with Mozilla/Netscape/Firebird?

Anyone else experiencing similar problems with Mozilla/Netscape/Firebird? I'm using Firebird on OS X and having no problems -- it's snappy as ever! Are you running one of the nightly builds, or 0.7? Also, are those threads image heavy? I've noticed that Mozilla/Firebird/etc. don't handle lots of images in the most efficient way.

I'm using 0.7 on Windows XP Professional SP1 and have no problems. I have nine tabs open and it uses 64mb.

Image heavy threads don't seem to be the problem. It chugs just loading the forum interface/thread listings. Eh, go figure... Maybe I'll try reverting to a 0.7 build.

I don't know what all of that stuff means but this page has been really slow recently. I wasn't sure if it was my computer or the page.
