hey everyone i wanted to get this game so bad when it came out, but i dont like have to pay subscription fees to play games :mad: but today i was at Bestbuys and i saw that they have prepaid subscription cards(now this is cool since i dont have to but anything on my credit card and get charaged intrest). Since i know nothing about what makes a computer run or where to find it i was hoping one of you computer smart people can help me find this stuff. Just in case this is helpful im on windows XP and have dsl. Thanks in advanced. :tu:

Well based on what you've given us, that takes care of the OS & modem requirements. What brand of PC do you have? Does it have a model # printed on the case somewhere? If not, you should be able to get a bit more info this way..hold down the Windows logo key and then hit Pause/Break. It should (hopefully) list your Processor brand, processor speed, and amount of RAM that's installed.

Here's how I check for drive space (and CoH does use a good amount). Hold that Windows logo key again, and hit E. This will load up Windows Explorer. You should see a listing of drives either on the left or right (ex A, C, D). Right click on the C drive and left click properties. If you don't see any pink at all on that pie chart, you may have a problem. It should list your free space though, if you have more than the 2GB you should be fine, but I'd recommend you have a good bit more free. If you don't have enough space, might want to see about uninstalling some programs you don't use anymore or if you have a bunch of media files (AVI, MPG, stuff like that) may want to clear some of those out.
