I guess I haven't really provided too much information about my change, but basically I've done a complete 180. But after the main part of my transformation, I've noticed a big change-my interactions with people. I guess before I was more of a jolly giant, but now I'm more reserved, and it's almost like I've lost all of the people skills I once had. I've heard several people say that a lot of people who've basically been large since an early age will develop personalities to cope for their lack of 'fitting in' physically. I was just curious if anyone else out there has experienced this sort of change-going from a large person who got along with everyone, seemed to be unable of making social missteps...to a fit person who is viewed more like an outsider of the group. I can't really explain this situation further, but I thought I'd bring it out to see if anyone else had some insight, or experience with this.

I have found the opposite you to be slim was outgoing enjoyed peoples company had a good laugh then added quite a few pounds became reserved kept to myself didnt go out quite so much just with the kids.So now losing the weight to hopefully regain my confidence back but maybe when you get to the weight you wish youll be happier and more confident which will show to the ones close to you.If they are good friends just explain to them whats happening and Im sure they will be tolerant and stick by you.

I think all kinds of important physical changes might lead to this* ...I guess it takes time to adapt to your new body and create a new mental image of yourself.

See you around.

* I don't even want to think about Michael Jackson's social life
