No, it's not. Quite impressive - a 700-hp run from 2.2 litres, considering I'm putting out 441 HP with 5.7 litres. But... I have every creature comfort in the world in my car. I doubt they have air conditioning, power seats, power windows, etc...

Did you hear that waste gate popping off? That's some serious boost. That's what every one of these Honda-driving fast-and-the-furious wannabe's with the coffee-can exhausts get hard on's over... and wish they had.

I wasn't that impressed when they said they were tuning for turbo pressures of 1 bar (about 14 psi). When they said they upped the boost to 2 bars (about 28 psi), that's a little more like it!! Anything above 16~18 psi on a turbo system is seriously respectable. Everything internal to the engine would have to be forged, the block, would have to be checked for imperfections, compression would have to be in the area of 7.5 or 8 to 1. Heads would have to be studded, standard head bolts wouldn't live up to the challenge even at pressures as low as 14 psi. You'd lift those heads off the block in a heartbeat!! The block would probably have the deck surface cut for ringed copper gaskets with inset rubber seals to prevent gaskets from blowing out. I wonder how many head gaskets they go through anyway...

Very cool stuff. Somewhere I have a video of a twin-turbo LS1 Trans Am racing a couple of crotch rockets on the highway. He not only reeled in those crotch rockets, but he pulled on them some. It's pretty cool! I'll upload it to my server and share it later, if I still have power...

I think I have the same video... there's a tlc song on the radio and the guy says "gsx-r1000"? Impressive? yes, although the bike he raced was actually a yamaha.
