I'm working out 5 days a week... 3 days weights and a little warm up cardio and 2 heavier cardio days..

After a weekend of no workouts I seem to add a couple of pounds and it takes me till thu-fri to get back down to my last fri weight.. Is this normal?? I'm thinking of adding a Sat. heavy Cardio day.. Do you think this will help with the gain ? I imagine it's only water and waste retention since I eat a lot of red meat.. but it's got be baffled.. :confused:

i cant answer your question but i do notice the same thing then every other week the wieght actualy goes down alittle lol

Just guessing, but if you're cutting and working out, you are deplenishing the glycogen stored in the muscle. You replenish the glycogen over the weekend. Each gram of glycogen brings three grams of water along with it, so yes, you're seeing water weight.
