what exactly is the proper way to do a lunge? i just started doing them and well.......i dont think im doing a very good job :lol: after im done, it really doesnt feel like ive done anything

Keep your chest up, with a natural arc in your back. Step forward with one foot, then lower your body down till your back leg's knee almost touches the ground. Both legs should be bent at the knee at about a 90 degree angle. Then use the front leg to push yourself back up.
