feline1981 September 2nd, 2004, 08:46 AM Hey guys,

tashimarie September 2nd, 2004, 08:50 AM me personally, i'd stick to tracking my diet and watching what i eat. but thats just me.
Reno_1ted September 2nd, 2004, 09:01 AM Enjoy your holiday, and then go on damage control upon your return.
I am also going on holiday soon, and i can tell you i will be eating out every day, and drinking every day. Ive worked hard all year, i can allow myself a week off. Its good for the soul and psychologically important. You need to enjoy the life that keeping fit allows you to live.
tashimarie September 2nd, 2004, 09:02 AM hey, i could use a drink! maybe i'll go on holiday too!!
Reno_1ted September 2nd, 2004, 09:42 AM My friends just dropped out of our trip yesterday. Fancy a week on the spanish coast. ;)
tashimarie September 2nd, 2004, 09:43 AM is it warm there?
Reno_1ted September 2nd, 2004, 09:54 AM Compared to the NW of England it is !!! ;)
Its about 28 in the midday sun. Dunno what that is in US terms.
tashimarie September 2nd, 2004, 10:02 AM 28 celcius? or fareignheight? i think i spelled that wrong LOL, we havent had much of a summer here, average temp maybe 70 if we are lucky  made it to the beach ONCE the whole summer *sigh*
PeteBDawg September 2nd, 2004, 10:52 AM In US terms, 28 C is 82.4 F, according to Google Calculator.
That's real nice. I'd go if I were you.
I can't take vacation, as work is really picking up for fall, but somebody should.
Shike September 2nd, 2004, 12:10 PM I'm heading to England and Ireland in two weeks. I plan on drinking Guinness, hopefully in moderation. It's going to hurt my weightloss but I want to enjoy my vacation.
If I take it easy on the food then I shoudln't gain too much weight. Hopefully.
Reno_1ted September 2nd, 2004, 12:55 PM Where u going in the UK ? Where u coming from ?
dmul September 2nd, 2004, 04:43 PM Guiness is a fat-free food and undoubtedly as good for the soul as chicken soup. I'm pretty certain that there is a study on that ... somewhere.
Whether you call it vacation or holiday, the time is certainly meant for enjoyment. Barbados or Spain must undoubtedly have some wonderful produce and seafood available to go with the rum and sangria?
darkbat September 4th, 2004, 01:43 PM I live in south east Uk not long back from cyprus all inclusive kicked up a big fuss about hotel with a gym (didnt use it as didnt open till 10am too late for me with the kids)planned to eat healthily still I stuck to eating 6 meals a day but they ended up about 800 kcals each big mistake and paying for it now but mmmm guess once a year (oops xmas twice a year)doesnt hurt the body.
Shike September 5th, 2004, 02:49 AM Where u going in the UK ? Where u coming from ?
Coming from Minnesota, USA. Not sure where I'm heading. I wanna head over there and go where ever the wind takes me. Plan on staying a couple days in London and then heading to Ireland.
Function September 5th, 2004, 04:59 AM dmul: I found the study, it also states that the health benefits are directly proportional to amount ingested...
About a year ago I took a trip to Door County, WI and stayed a week at the Wagon Trail Resort with a bunch of friends. Wish I could do that again...
Emilio September 5th, 2004, 03:23 PM personally when the time comes for me to go on vacation, hopefully making a trip to Italy to visit relatives around winter time, I will just enjoy the trip for what it is and not stress out about gaining or losing weight. I'll just eat conservatively and as said a above do some damage control when I get home. Enjoy your vacation!!
