Oakenfold is the shit man, i've been listening to him for years. Usually just when i want to chill i dont know how i could fair with him as a cardio track, although some of his stuff can be pretty fast. Its also easy to lose yourself for hours in some really good trance.

Get Psyco Disturbed

THAT ONE ROCKS!! i gotta remember to add that, huge disturbed fan, i saw them live last year. Too bad they were the only good band on the bill.

see I just pick individual tunes because on most albums i'm not going to like every song, and a slow or sucky one breaks up my stride.

Although, Slipknots WHOLE first album is nonstop hardkore. So i'd go with that one if i had to have a whole album.

prodigy -firestarter

wow old skool :D been awhile since i heard that one. good beats though

All I have listened to since buying it at the release show on Monday night has been Lamb of God's "Ashes of the Wake".

I don't see this changing before the end of the week.

Best metal album of the year with ease. Anybody who is even remotely a fan of the genre would be doing themselves a disservice to not pick it up for 8.99 at Best Buy.

Yeah Oakenfold is cool. I like to hit Shoutcast.com and pull up their trance playlist. There is a vocal trance station there that I can listen all day long. That's usually where I get an idea for what I want to buy next.

At some point I'd really like to get an Ipod or something similar to listen to MP3s while I'm working out. I think it might help me. Esp if I were to pop in some hardcore techno. :db:

I'm into J-Music at the moment, mostly J-Rock (those sitting on the first row might already know that the J refers to Japanese ;) )

For those who want to give it a try, try getting something from Asian Kung-Fu Generation (Rewrite, Ao no uta), L'arc~en~ciel (Driver's High, Ready Steady Go) , or Porno Graffiti ( )( Melissa, Kesenai Tsumi), all of these (except Ao no Uta) being songs from anime series.

By the way, I was going to start a new thread* asking for people's one (1) specially motivating song to listen with the volume cranked up when they want to lift real hard (i.e. break one of their records, for instance). I thought it would be nice to take a "JSF" playlist to the gym and hear what others hear while your/their forehead vein is about to explode

My song --> Asian Kung-Fu Generation: Haruka Kanata (Far off distance)

Waiting for your replies!

* (But then I thought I could sort of hijack this one)

Hehehe... if you dig it though, I urge you to pick up the album. It's only 9 bucks, and they're not exactly famous rich artists here.

Either way, glad I got somebody to check out the Lamb. :tu:

Your playlist is very similar to mine (my sorta music, thrashy)... If Chimera / Slipknotget u pumped you REALLY oughta get your hand's on these albums

Machine Head - Through The Ashes Of Empires (imperium seriously rocks, download that as a taster)
- Burn my eyes (davidian, old)
- Hellalive (all)
- The more things change (take my scars, 10 ton hammer)

All the songs on those albums are f'ing good to me, but the ones in the brackets are the most 'popular' I guess, and if youve not heard of em download those tunes as a taster.

Also check out

Fear factory - Demanufacture
- Obsolete
- Digimortal

Let me know what ya think if u download / hear any of em
