I should have known... about three weeks ago I bought one of these mini-steppers.

It was on sale at Walmart for $30. I used it for about a week. Then it started to get loud and the parts became looser. It felt like the left footrest was going to come off at any point. On top of that, it started leaking hydrolic fluid all over my new carpet. Steer clear of this piece of junk!
So I threw it out and I picked up one of these deluxe fitness models. :D

It's the Costco Safety First folding step for $12. I step up and step down to 1 hour of news in the mornings. No leaks, it's sturdy and quiet, it folds down to nothing and keeps me at 130 bpm. My 3 year old likes to use it to reach stuff, too.
