Had to go in for a check-up for my health insurance.. and went through the whole routine..
Was given an excellent bill of health, 140/80 blood pressure, 59 bpm resting heart rate, and an excellent set of lungs.
The doc was very pleased and told me to keep doing what I'm doing, but warned me I could get seriously addicted to cycling.
I told him I already am.. he shrugged and told me it's better than being addicted to cocaine.
PROGRESS! Man it's awesome to hear it from a doctor.

My weight training is just getting started, but so far it has definetely helped break me out of my plateau and continue the fat burning, and I'm already feeling even stronger (upper body wise)
My legs feel like steel.. I can bike 53 km and still stand and sprint near the end of my run.. tha't how strong they are now..
I just got back from another 53 km run and am about to update my logs again today. :)
I weight train every 3rd day, as to give my muscles 2 days to rest (upper body) and work my abs the day after lifting while going a shorter (yes, it's 35 km but that's short to me) distance the day after.
It has really jolted my body back into gear and I'm back in the "swing" of things... so to speak. ;)

i like getting checked by the doctor, some people hate it, but i like it :p (ok i'll admit i like getting touched :D)
but its always great to get a good bill of health, makes to feel a whole lot better knowing you arent heart attack material
