08.17.04 - 1 mile in ~ 6:30, 4x100 m sprint, 200 m of drills
08.18.04 - 800 m sprint

This has been all my running/cardio for the past week and a half, basically just some short distance sprinting. You wouldn't think I would be ready for any type of endurance run.
So, today my roommate arrives to stay with me for the weekend and to train for XC and lift. We end up lifting for two hours, and then running 4 miles, and then 6.5 miles, for a total of 10.5 miles (in sweltering heat, then a long wet thunderstorm, and finally well through sunset).
I ate a bowl of cereal today and he had a bowl of oatmeal and some rice. :p
So, is anyone else crazy? And have stories to share?
