Just thought I'd let everyone know who I am before the forum expands to where we can no longer be too personal. My name is Erin...I'm 26 years old and I live in Denver. I'd like to begin by giving thanks to John in his inspiration to help all the tubby's out there. I've been looking at John in his undies.. :o ...er, I mean...I've been reading John's updates for about a month now and I would have to say that all of his dedication along with this great forum that he created is a great motivational tool for myself. (the pictures aren't bad either)
Anyway, I've always been a roller-coaster dieter. My weight has always fluctuated....my motivation has always been up and down. And finally, after several recent changes in my life, I've decided that I can no longer ignore what has been weighing me down both physically and mentally any longer. So here I am. Starting a new life. And I can't wait to see where it takes me. It's been 2 weeks now since I started living life. Life sure has been kickin' my ass, but I'm feelin' good and my motivation couldn't be better. Thank you all for your support and advice. Ya'll rock!

Oh, and Lisa...if you read this....ya really need to get John some new boxers....the blues and blacks are gettin' redundant. ;)
(hey, if it doesn't bother Lisa, it sure as hell ain't botherin' me) :tu:

Hi GettinFit, welcome to the forums! :)

I'm sure you'll find all the motivation and friendly advice you can stand here. Hopefully these forums will never be impersonal, no matter how big they are.

Funny you should mention my boxers because Lisa bought me 3 new pair yesterday (bringing my total to something like 24 pair, for those who are counting). Alas, one pair was dark blue and one was light blue, so I'll let you and Lisa hash that issue out because, as long as they are clean, I don't put much thought into my boxers. :p

Good luck, glad to have you here!

Good luck on your journey to become the person you really want to be... I am not quite where I want to be, but I can tell you that I am feeling like I am quite hot :p ... lol. I still have a lot of work to do on my body, but the compliments by all the women are helping me along the way, and I will be at my dream body soon.
