YES BOYS AND GIRLS ITS OZZFEST TIME IN PHILLY!!! AND I AM ON MY WAY OUT THE DOOR!! :claphigh:

well..okay...Camden if you wanna be exact, but you have to take the ferry from penns landing in philly to get there if you dont wanna park in that ghetto.

SLIPKNOT HATEBREED BLACK LABEL SOCICETY JUDAS PRIEST and BLACK SABBATH!!! (never really listened to PRiest but what the hell i liked some of their stuff.)

This is part of the reason i've been in gym so damn much, i dont wanna get my ass bounced around in the pit.

Any other headbangers out there?

Slipknot are one of the best bands you'll ever see live, enjoy it. I know I did when I seen Slipknot both times, once on thier own, once with Metallica.

I missed half of their show playing before Metallica (Dublin), well, I caught 5 or 6 songs anyway, The first song I got into the mosh pit for I came out with being headbutted twice and exhausted, just wow. I was well happy with it though ;)

Judas Priest would be amazing aswell, I'm a big fan.

ya know i had never really listend to Priest before yesterday, but OH MY GOD AM I A FAN NOW!!!! they put on an awsome show!!! Slipknot and Hatebreed were COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL, i loved it!!

So we wait for Black Sabbath to come...main reason i'm there...wait...wait wait....lights come down...some dick from the local radio station comes out...reads a statement from Ozzy...

HE HAS BRONCHITUS!!!! The whole place...THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE...boo'd for a half hour....Geezer came out apologized profusely...said "If you feel like you've been cheated...we're going to play our asses off...If you feel like you've been ripped off....we're going to play our asses off..If you're pissed off, we're going to play our asses off. Ozzy loves every fucking one of you and he is devestated he can't play for you tonight"

so that was cool, and hey at least i get so see what memebers of Black Sabbath I can. BUT THEY HAD ROB HALFORD SINGING!!! Now Halford is awsome...AT SINGING JUDAS PRIEST! He absolutely CANNOT sing Sabbath...I tried to make the best of it but left after 3 songs.

Hope Ozzy doesnt keel over before next year.  :(

Glad to hear Slipknot where amazing, i thought they would be, they always are live.

Judas Priest are amazing, I'd love to see them live.
Shit one about Ozzy, I'm not big on Black Sabbath, but at least they gave it a try. Ozzy has a tendancy to do that now, he's canceled loads of shows, he canceled the Dublin show aswell as far as I know.

Did you watch the second stage at all? I ask because you've not mentioned it at all, and that would have been the only reason I'd have gone. I've seen Slayer, and am uninterested in the rest of the main stage, possible exception being Slipknot for the live show.

If you didn't check out God Forbid, Bleeding Through, Hatebreed, Unearth, and Lamb of God, you definitely shortchanged yourself.

Personally, I'm seeing Lamb of God tomorrow night in NY City at Irving Plaza, for their record release show. My level of anticipation is off the charts. Tomorrow will be the longest work day EVER.
