Hi all. This is literally my first post, and included are pics that were taken about 5 seconds ago on the webcam.

Front, Side and Back upper body view as of 6 Feb 04.

Got a long way to go as I reckon I'm about 27% bodyfat from my measurements, which are as follows:

Height - 6'4"
Weight - 16st 1lb (225lbs or 102.27kg)
Neck - 17"
Shoulders - 50"
Chest - 45"
Waist - 39"
Abdomen - 42.5"
Hips - 41.75"
Thigh - 25"
Knee - 16"
Calf - 17.25"
Ankle - 11"
Bicep (Rest) - 13.75"
Forearm - 12"
Wrist - 7.25"
Bodyfat % - 23.74% (I have no idea how this is worked out!)

Well, there we go. Hopefully over the next few months I'll get this bodyfat % down to 10%! Yaye.

All the best and Thanks John for providing me with a forum in which to embarrass myself. (Reminder to self, no christmas card for John...)

Heh, welcome to the forums! Don't be embarrassed by your pictures - most of us are where you are now, or have been there.

I'll bet when you reach your goal of 10% body fat you'll change your mind about the Christmas card (although you will deserve all the credit, of course).

Good luck, keep us posted! :tu:

Well, thank you for a quick reply first off. I sent you mail which you were kind enough to respond to months ago. I had the same aim then but have been plagued by dietary problems. My body has a habit of getting used to things a little too quickly.

Hopefully, through this forum, i might find a way to get through this using the collective knowledge of everyone that reads.

I will get there in the end.

All the best people!

Ok, I went 26 in August. Yeah I know, i got the body of my dad, who happens to be 45.

Am I gaining admirers already? No seriously though, why do you ask?

you have the beginnings of a MONSTROUS back! your lats are already wide... keep working them and they will look like wings, and help make your waistline appear smaller!

Yeah, definitely like that sound. MONSTROUS... hmmmm and at 6'4" too. I always liked the idea of having a v-back so let's hope it sticks!

Also, I thought I would share a little story with you...

I went to the cafe with my mum today, it was really funny! Before now, I've ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon and chips, cup of coffee with a couple of sugars.

Today, I ordered a plate of tuna, with a smidging of bbq sauce and a pint of water. The lass laughed at me and said 'very funny, double cheeseburger?'... My mum looked over to me and grinned, I turned and replied, 'no, seriously, plate of tuna with a smidging of bbq sauce, and a pint of water', smiling to myself.

Another waitress who normally serves me who knew I was about to start dieting, asked me how much I'd lost, I told her and the looks on peoples faces said it all. She asked me if Tuna was all I ate, and I said 'pretty much, yes! Tuna, Turkey, Chicken and fish!'!

Another chuckle came from the corner of smoking cheeseburger monsters, so I added, 'It's not going to be long before I'm back in the swimming pool with my little girl, able to smile and take as long as I want since I wont be embarrassed any more! I can't wait!". Amazing how quickly that chuckling stopped. It was also funny how many people suddenly made their orders 'salad please!!'....
