Hey all,
Just thought I'd post my new purchase here. I just bought the PowerBlock Personal Set dumbells. I'm just starting out, and have Zero room for weight equipment. These things take up a 2x2 foot square area and go from 5 to 45 lbs in each hand (all I need for a while!). They're awesome!

Check out the link: http://www.powerblock.com/frame.html

The personal set can be expanded to 60lbs per hand, but once I require that much weight, I'll just upgrade to the Big Block set ( goes up to 125 lbs per hand!!! I can't imagine lifting that much in each hand... ).

Cheers,
Chris

I have had the professional set of the 10-50 lbs. for about six years. I used them with my "home bound" clients for personal training. I now use them for myself. I think they are a great investment for someone without much room. Try to find them on sale at a fitness store instead of buying them through the manufacturer. You can get them cheaper than retail.
