This is pretty funny (at least for my sick demented humor ;) )...especially the slow motion instant replay. Too bad we can't treat criminals this way here in the US. The human rights groups would be up in arms over it.

And it is work safe for those that are wondering. No one gets there head blown off or anything nasty like that. That wouldn't be funny.

Nice one, I was waiting for a police sniper to take him out. Guess not...

I fail to see the humor in catching a moron trying to stand above the law. I think he deserves it. Too bad they had to bust what looked like quite a nice bike, and too bad that the government probably have to pay for his recovery.

while I'm guessing this isn't an everyday occurance in Spain, it was kind of cool to have a camera there to catch what happened. I bet this will discourage others who were on the brink of thinking they might be able to get away with it.

Just FYI, this would probably constitute an unjustified use of force in the U.S. Deadly Force is not authorized against a fleeing felon unless they are known to be violent or are in the process of placing someone's life in danger. U.S. Police probably would have simply put some type of disabler on the bike and disabled it as soon as the suspect was in a good position to take into custody.

Yikes. To rough a lesson, even tho he's a criminal.
