View Full Version : xxl is the best sup I've ever used... period!
baltis August 13th, 2004, 08:19 AM I've been blown away by it since I was forced to buy it over my standard myoplex mass.
Not only is XXL cheaper, it has better stats, more protien, more carbs, more calories, more of everything you need to get big quick!
I began using it a little over 2 and a half weeks ago -- at 210 -- since then, I've gained nearly 13 pounds of bulk and mass.
My arms messured a cold 17 -- now they messure a cold 18 -- with a good pump on them they will reach nearly 19 inches...
I cannot say enough good things about this product and urge anyone with a spare 24 bucks to pick some up... only if you are into gaining mass... it will not cut you up... but it will make your existing lean mass much much larger.
I'm 6ft 2 1/2 inches -- I wear a 33 inch waste... to boot.
Take this in conjunction with some V-12 and you will swear your taking an illegal substance... well, maybe not that good, but it's far better than any other source material on the market today IMO...
Just a heads up..
Balt.
Knubb August 13th, 2004, 08:38 AM I can't help but to be quite suspicious when this kind of post is the first thing that comes out of a new member.
Still, good that it works for you...
phayte August 13th, 2004, 09:42 AM I can't help but to be quite suspicious when this kind of post is the first thing that comes out of a new member. I agree with Knubb on this one. This post sounds like a quacker post to me. :)
But, on the off chance we're wrong, I'm happy it's working for ya'.
Wilderbeast August 13th, 2004, 10:10 AM Sounds quite feasible that it is the best supp he has ever taken (Cause i suspect three is the grand total)
I appreciate your double blind scientifi.......
See my problem is that i can make a drink myself with whey and carbs that is taylored to my needs. And i can put much more protein and carbs in it than XXL so mine has to be better.
Sorry for the sarcasm if its legit but i do advise that you atleast post it in a review type format in the future.

baltis August 13th, 2004, 10:17 AM I thought that was what I was doing, since I used IMO...????
Well either way... it can't be helped.
I've had impressive results with it and I've tried so much crap out there...
MAG 10
Tribex
NOX 2
NITRO TECH
CELL TECH
etc etc etc... You name it... I've took it once, maybe even been suckered into taking it muliple times...
As for a protien mass builder... MYOPLEX MASS was always a decent buy.. it never let me gain, rather it let me maintain. XXL however, has proven it stands head and shoulders above "ANY" sup "I'VE" taken in the past.
Again... I'm sorry you all feel that since I just joined I couldn't possible know what I'm talking about... "LOL" it shows real intellect... as in I've never even heard of this site before last night...
Balt...
Wilderbeast August 13th, 2004, 10:49 AM Ok ,
So i was a bit harsh i am use to usenet where this kind of thing is usually a advert ( for a bad product that cannt sell itself).
Can you add a couple of details about it please. Whats it mix like / taste like. Any bad aftertaste ? Whats the source of its carbs (Dextrose , Maltodextrin, Fructose ). Whats its fat amount per serving. How did you use it as a PWO or for adding calories through the day.
Widers
bigdog9801 August 13th, 2004, 11:17 AM im they just thought you were trying to sell something, or just a 12 year old kid messn around
Andy August 13th, 2004, 12:44 PM I began using it a little over 2 and a half weeks ago -- at 210 -- since then, I've gained nearly 13 pounds of bulk and mass.
After that, i stopped reading.
supirman August 13th, 2004, 12:52 PM Sorry bud, but you won't even put on 13lbs of "bulk and mass" with gear in 2.5 weeks. You might, however, look like a bloated cow.
And there is absolutely zero possibility that your arms grew an inch already.
I call BS.
Reno_1ted August 13th, 2004, 12:55 PM
If you were to provide me with before and afters...
And maybe some other testiments....
"I tried XXL and i gained LBM by just sitting on my ass." - Mr Twain, CA
"XXL tastes so good, now its the only meal i ever have. Now ive had XXL, ill never go back to solid foods again" - Mr Aspinall, NY
And apparently, they have an introductory offer of a free jello mould with every 5lbs of XXL purchased. But HURRY, offer ends sunday ! ;)
Just kidding of course, im sure this stuff is great. (cough....cough....)
slush_puppy August 13th, 2004, 12:57 PM Not only is XXL cheaper...
It's $24 for 10 servings... if you call that cheap, then you're a supplement company's wet dream.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/abb/xxl.html
baltis August 13th, 2004, 09:03 PM In all actuallity it is cheaper... MYOPLEX MASS is around 45 to 50 bucks for 20 packets or 13 servings in the bucket.
At that price... you are not getting near the nutritional values as you are in XXL for 24 bucks.
I can spare 25 bucks every week for something that works... Also, them stats are always off anyways.
Case and point -- I bought some of that juicers crap -- that extreme protein stuff that's new and it touts 87 servings... What a load of ****! To get your needed daily value out of it alone "supplemental value" you need to mix 4 scoups in 1 shake.
That cuts it right back down to 15 to 20 servings... I also add at 32 bucks a pop...
Look, I know alot of you are set in your ways and that looking at some of your avatars "SUPIRMAN" for one... you don't need some guy coming in telling you what the best supplement out there is.
I just wanted to let those who've been thinking about buying it have a little heads up... nothing more.
Also, the XXL bottled drinks are of merit too. They have a serious amount of carbs, calories and protein for folks who are trying to pack on mass...
Like I said V-12 and some XXL went along way with me... I'm elated at my ressults using the two together. You all might have different ressults and ways to get to where you want to be, right now... I've found my temporary answer, until I find something new anyways...
John Stone August 13th, 2004, 09:25 PM Yeah, but everyone who has been lifting for more than five minutes knows you can't add an inch to your arms in 2 weeks. It just doesn't happen - even if you are juicing. So why would you post a statement like that and discredit your whole post? Also, you can add 13 pounds in 2 weeks, but not 13 pounds of lean mass. I don't blame people for their responses because how are we supposed to separate the BS from the truth (if any)?
Bluestreak August 13th, 2004, 09:32 PM I hadn't clicked on this thread yet.
I needed a good laugh, thanks. :tucool:
baltis August 13th, 2004, 10:13 PM Sure you can add an inch to your arms in 2.5 weeks...
I do it all the time actually.
If I don't train hard for even a week, I'll loose serious arm size and leg size. I'll loose an inch easily in a week around my arms in a week, for whatever reason... not working as hard, not eating as I should or whatever...
I can quickly get it back within a 2 week period everytime.
I think again "if the pictures by your name are that of you" You shouldn't see this as a stretch... but then again, maybe you do...
In any event... I should have re-phrased it a bit better... When I last messured my arms some month to month and a half ago they were cold 17 and would reach a little under 18, sometime a little over 18 inches -- when I began taking XXL some 2 to 3 weeks ago to now... My arms have grown to 18 inches cold and almost reach 19 with a good pump on them.
However, 2.5 weeks for an inch is a stretch, but other than that I cannot go with anything but that as it was the last time I had messured my arm.
Again... depending on how your body chooses to use energy and eat up fat and other muscle tissue is totally different than that of mine, as yours is from mine.
Trust me... loosing and gaining an inch on my arms isn't that hard of a task... I do it all the time. I dropped down to 180 lbs at one time and my arms were a mere 16 inches flexed... I looked scrawny and thus I began to eat...eat...eat and eat some more, since then I've gained roughly 40 lbs... I go up and down all the time, this is nothing new to me.
Now granted, I'm not 3% body fat or even close... I'm around 11 to 12% again this number to is a little off, cause I've only done this by my weight and height on the computer... it is never really acurate by looks.
John Stone August 13th, 2004, 10:41 PM Sure you can add an inch to your arms in 2.5 weeks...
I do it all the time actually.
Really? Then what is so special about XXL? Ok, you're starting to bore me...
