Almost out of my 2lb tub of ON 100% Chocolate Whey, how much does it usually go for at GNC? I think it was 19.99 when I bought it, but i could be wrong. If it is any more, I'll go with All the Whey brand. Just needing some feedback, thanks!

I highly recommend ON!!! It is the best stuff out there for the money.

Here is a price breakdown from BB.com

There are a few other sites that have ON cheaper but the customer service is top notch at BB.com.

Good Luck!

I know this is an old thread, but I thought i'd re-hash it...

ATW is 27 for a 5lb tub (after shipping) and its 22g protein
ON is 31 (after taxes) where I buy it for 5lb tub and its 23g protien

For the price and stats I'd say that ON tastes better, mixes about the same, and I'm willing to throw the extra 4 bucks so I don't have to wait 10 days for them to ship it to me!

Hi,

It should only take 2 - 3 days to IN. Did you have a problem with us?

Actually...the ON 100% Whey (http://www.dpsnutrition.net/product_information.asp?number=ON009&back=yes&dept=1083&last=1083) is $25.99(no tax unless you live in PA), and I typically receive my shipments from these guys the next day.

On BB web site it's $28.99 for "ON" whey ..plus freight unless your by one of their stores..

I like ATW.. and sometimes it's worth every penny to get a product like this.. For me it's better then Optium.. because it's not bad with water.. most of these other ones aren't.. Just my two bits

I currently have 2 5 pound tubs of AlltheWhey and 2 5 pound tubs of ON whey. In my opinion, the AlltheWhey is not too good tasting, I have chocolate and bannana flavors, the chocolate is ok but I got burned out quick on the bananna. My girl likes the bannana better than I do. As for the ON, I have choc mint and cookies and cream. The cookies and cream is pretty nasty, stay away from that flavor. I am going to have to force that stuff down. The choc mint is good, it tastes almost exactly like Champion Whey chocolate with mint thrown in. I think I am going to order more Champion Whey choc, its 25 bucks for 5 pounds and I like the taste better than the above brands. AlltheWhey is great quality but I dont care for the taste.

Why cant they all taste like Muscle Milk?!?! I love that stuff. Designer is pretty good tasting too but is too expensive. Years ago I used to use Labarada protein(or MRP's), I liked it back then but I think I had too much, now it would probably make me gag. Its good though if you haven't tried it. Especially the strawberry and choc.

I used Isopure for a long time as well, burned out on that and it got expensive buying those 7.7 pound buckets. Once I tried some of Dorian Yates protein, oh man was that nasty stuff.

Anyone else know any good tasting proteins? I have tried pretty much everything but I am always on the lookout for new kinds.

Hi,

The more fat and carbs will make for better taste, but it lowers the protein quality. We want to keep the quality as high as possible.

Some products that contain protein are weight gainers. They have a lot of sugar.

I have been getting the 10lb sacks of ON's Chocolate at www.bodybuilding.com. Great service. 55 bucks. I usually get a free shaker bottle or t-shirt.

My next order might be from www.massnutrition.com. They sponsor Glenn Johnson, who recently beat Roy Jones Jr. into a rocker. 10 pound sack of ON's is 44 bucks. That is cheap.

Never tried ATW. I Probably will, but it is tough to change a taste once you get rollin' with it.

ATW is quality stuff, no doubt about that, I just don't care for the taste. It mixes really easy too. I had some Orange Isolate(as recommended by Swolecat) and that was good, if I order ATW again it will be the Orange.

Have any of you tried Beverly International products? I know Jeremy likes their stuff and its quality but I haven't tried it yet.

Muscle Milk is still the best tasting stuff I have ever tried-its like candy, too bad it has so much fat, its good fat but still- too much for cutting:

Too much fat for cutting?...I know national level competetors who have used Muscle Milk as close as 1 week out from their show. (most compete at < 5% bf) I'm downing a MM shake with my evening meal, and I'm still leaning out. (think EFA's)
I LOVE all of the Beverly line, and currently have containers of chocolate and vanilla Muscle Provider, as well as a few containers of Mass Maker at home right now. I'm giving Muscle Milk a few month run right now, or I'd also have chocolate and vanilla Ultra Size on hand as well.

I agree you can use MM for a meal or two but if your already using Udo's or the like for fats MM can put you over your fat intake. As long as you factor it in I suppose you would be fine.

Have any of you tried Cytosports Whey protein? If its anywhere as good as MM it might be worth the higher price. 33 bucks for 5 pounds is a bit pricey compared with other Whey proteins.

try a 6 pounder of GNC chocolate... 100 percent whey. It's real good and if you have a gold card it's pretty cheap.. Worth it.

I have shopped at DPS for years, I hadn't checked their price on Cytosport stuff, thanks for the heads up.

I still don't think MM is any good for cutting though, too much fat, in fact the maker of MM has stated this before in an interview I read. He said it wasn't to be used for people on a cutting cycle. Whatever works for you I guess. Have you tried the Cytosport Whey? I think I will order some.

I haven't tried their whey...I actually don't have any whey isolate at home at right now. I have been using their EvoPro though, and it's pretty much similar to MM as far as taste. I'd be willing to bet that their whey taste the same. Good luck, and let us know...
