Excellent, I think you'll be very happy with the equipment. Good job for making the commitment to get in shape and also for posting your pictures. Nothing left to do but to do it. :) Good luck!

I know it's been only 3 weeks, but I can't believe how great I feel. Especially since now I only drink water. Believe me, after drinking 12-16 pepsi's a day, it was hard. But now I'm on track and ready to lose this fat and get some muscle I never had before. Rock on everyone!!
Lisa Stone February 25th, 2004, 06:03 PM Oh wow, you're doing great!! :tu: Wonderful progress!
Geed February 25th, 2004, 06:12 PM GREAT JOB!!! I was wondering if you could tell me how much of a diet change (besides the Pepsi) did you make? Also, what kind of cardio, if any, are you doing. I can't get over how much fat you lost in your stomach area! You should feel very good about your accomplishments so far. Keep up the good work!

In answer to the diet question:
I follow just about everything John did to start out with. And man was that hard when your used to not eating the whole morning and then load up on fast food and sodas. I was having an affair, yes having an affair with Krispy Kream donuts! I would look forward to going to work for the two donuts and chocolate milk. That is all changed now. But I am weak. I havn't caved, but it has been close a few times.
Now I eat 7 times a day. I get up at 5:00 a.m. to do my work out. I first eat 2 slices of turkey to keep the hunger pangs away. I haven't gotten the Whey protein yet, mainly cause I'm scared. I had Hepatitis A a few years back and get worried with anything that can affect the liver or kidneys. But I want to get it.
I hate seafood, so I'm limited to chicken and lots of vegetables and on Sunday I have a 8 oz. filet mignon. I know I need that protein, but I need some reassurance on that. I went shopping and actually eat at work now between clients. Something I never did. This helps with not having to go home and pig out on everything in sight. I was terrible. I used to hit the drive through and get a burger on the way home and tell my wife I wasn't very hungry. But of course, the weight just kept coming. But check out John's diet program and that will help a great deal. Thanks all.
Teg4e February 26th, 2004, 02:22 PM Great progress, man! As long as your strength and/or muscle size isn't going down, don't worry about getting more protein. What are your long-term goals?

I want to have arms that have definition instead of just straight little arms. I think I might have actually felt a little peanut in my bicep after my last work out! My goal weight is 165. 8% Body fat. I have a long way to go, but I feel like I'm on track. Talk to you soon.
