Just curious what all of you in the southeast thought about Bonnie and Charley heading our way... I'm in Durham (next to Raleigh) North Carolina and they say we can expect about 6 inches of rain and tropical storm winds over the next 2-3 days. Orlando looks like it's square in the middle of Charley's path as well. Here's some pics...
This is Bonnie:

Usually hurricanes aren't a big deal because we're in a couple of hours from the coast (we let Wilmington take the hit for us!) but I know we've had a few (like Fran, shudders) that have travelled pretty well over land. I can deal with the rain, it's the trees falling on my roof that I'm nervous about.
Anyway, it looks like it's going to be a REALLY active hurricane season, time to get out the plywood and duct tape!
