It's got more protine per serving, less fat, and is fortified with calcium to basicly match that of milk.

If your just getting into it, the Silk Vanilla isn't that bad... I started out on regular, and then was forced to buy vanilla one day... I never switched back.

Also has isoflavones which are supposed to be very healthy .

You don't get the lactose with soy. Lactose is probably one of the main, major detriments in milk, considering our bodies weren't designed to process it after weaning age.

Once you get used to the flavor of soy milk, it's not too bad. I bought unsweetened Silk the other day, it tastes just like the plain soymilk to me. I'm liking the unsweetened because it's really low in carbs and I only eat it with cereal, so the cereal sweetens it up anyhow. Splenda comes in handy too.

If you have a Costco by you, Soymilk is cheaper than regular milk.

They also offer the Silk Cartons in a 2pack and that saves money.... Also Soymilk lasts alot longer than regular milk(takes longer to expire).
