John,
What do you think is allowing you to go back to your workouts? Rest? the physical therapy? What part of the physical therapy? Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks. -Pablo

It has to be the physical therapy. My shoulder is not fully healed - only surgery will accomplish that - but it seems to be healed enough so that I'm able to train again without it getting any worse (at least so far).
I'm still doing MAX-OT, but I can't lift as much as I could back in late 2003. As you might expect, I've lost some strength but it's cool how quickly it's coming back! My workouts have been excellent!
One thing I'm changing: I'm not going to do anymore 1-rep max bench presses or squats. Seeing how much I could bench/squat was always fun (and a nice ego boost), but those tests were not doing my body any favors, and they probably contributed to my injury.

John,
Thanks for the speedy reply. I wish you luck with your shoulder. It's great to hear you're able to do your upper body workout again. -Pablo

What type of injury is it? What type of surgery will be needed?
