Hey all,
First post but I have been reading for a few days now. I have started to body build again after a long break because of pure laziness. I won't lie, I have been lazy. I was in the military for 7 years so at one point I was rather fit.
I am 32yr, 5ft 11in, male, topped out at 230. Over the last year I have gotten down to around 212-209.
I started lifting again and eating the 6 meals 6 days with the 7th day being a cheat day about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I have already seen a massive improvement in muscle tone, I believe this is because I am dead between a Mesomorph and an Endomorph. Now this is great for body building but for weight loss it makes life somewhat hard. I admit to doing little cardio and more weight training.
I see some difference in my pictures (especially around the love handles) but my scale weight has changed very little. I had a horrible diet before 3 weeks ago so I figured I would see faster weight loss. I started at 212 and see the scale flux between 212 and 206. I am wanting to bulk up and be big again but want a nice look not just a large look. I will post my pics in a week or so when I see a little more improvement.
I am just wondering if anyone else has seen small weight loss at the beginning? I stay right in a 2k calorie range each day 50/40/10. Like I said earlier I feel better, clothes fit better, and can see a difference in my pics. Is this normal for what my goal is?
