Need some advice.

I'm currently on the cut, attempting to lose most of my fat weight and gain a lil muscle in the process.

I'm currently at 5'10 34" w 202lbs, 12.9%bf (see my sig for progress so far). I supplement with a bit of DHEA, Chromium, Multivitamin, and 1-2 All the Whey isolate shakes/day (beyond my normal eating regimen and training).

My question is:

Is there any reason for or against looking into something like NO-Xplode or V12? I'd like to get a bit more energy without getting cracked-out on metabolife (i'm sensitive to caffiene/etc). I heard that NO-Xplode is a good mix of creatine and no2 which can help energize and volumize.

Considering I'm on the cut should I even mess with this? I'd like something that will help me increase the LBM, I'm not so much worried about my weight as I am losing fat/gaining muscle and keep my waist/etc manageable.

If there are any other alternatives, I'd definately like to know.

Best,
CZ

i have been using creatine while cutting to preserve stregnth. I have a journal going on as well. I think creatine is perfect for price.

cz3ch, the creatine that you're talking about and what specialbear is talking about are two different supplements altogether. Even though they are both creatine, specialbear is using monohydrate and Xplode uses malate. You'll find that creatine malate supplements give a harder muscle feel, unlike monohydrate that makes your muscles bigger, but a little softer. Xplode and V12 both contain Arginine, which is what gives them their nitrous properties. The arginine gives you a nice pump feel, but really doesn't add to your gains. Swole V2 is the other creatine malate product out right now, and I recommend it highly. I think it has a slight edge over V12 or Xplode, and it's cheaper. However, it doesn't have the arginine, so don't expect the same pump feeling. Also, allow about 1-2 weeks for them to kick in, don't give up after a few days with no effect. I think the malate products would be better when cutting than monohydrate. I also recommend drinking as much water as possible and cycling it, 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off.

I've tried V12, Swole V2, Satur8, and NO-xplode, and I have to say the last is the best, IMO. Not only does it give you great pumps, put it is also a stimulant (tyrosine, caffeine among others) that enhances your workout. The only drawbacks are the price and that you consume 70 cals worth of maltodexterin (bad for cutting) with each serving.

If you want the NO-Xplode type results, stack Swole V2 with Nitrous and you have a very similar product at a much more reasonable price. Also while cutting I'd recommend shying away from monohydrate products since they tend to make your body want to hold on to excess water while malate claims not to.

Put the powder in the shaker without the water. Before you drink it, visit the water fountain.

I've never tried NOXplode but everyone I talk to that uses it says they love it.
