Just wondering what kind of blood pressures other people are running. I tested mine today on one of those machines in WalMart. It's always been pretty consistent with what I get at the Dr's office. Today mine read 114/73 with 67 pulse, after eating clean for a couple of months. It used to range in the 130s / high 80s, occasionally going into lower 140s over low 90s. I thought maybe the machine was just reading low but then I saw a guy after me who's BP read 144/99.

Is this pretty consistent with anyone else's experiences?

I replied to another thread on this, and as I said I'm certainly no doctor, but I'm really surprised with the high BP being quoted. 144/99?? The 144 isn't prehaps so bad, but 99 on the low - ouch. 114/73 is not too low - quite normal.

BTW the machines aren't too bad, but BP is worse than weight for fluctuations, so if you're really keeping tabs on it, checking a few times a week at different times of the day might not be a bad idea.

I run 115/65 give or take 5 on either end and 60 +/- 3 resting pulse. Hasn't changed much in my life. Was about 120/60 as an unfit kid with 64 pulse.
