okay so i'm on the road with another tech yesterday who shares the same addiction for chinese food so i decide, i've been good so far, no cheat days, whats one for old times sake?

christ almighty, thats the last one I ever take. I feel like such complete crap all day! that stuff sat in my stomach like a ton of friggin bricks, i felt lazy and slow the whole rest of the day.

Then i had ONE glass of wine at night (FULL GLASS THAT IS :o ) and i was two steps shy of HAMMERED!! i couldnt believe it, how sensitive my body became after doing a complete 360 on my diet. I used to be able to pound down two 40oz's of Old English like a champ.

thats it man, its all or nothing now, i hated how i felt yesterday.

I had one last night with a bunch of papa john's pizza and I felt worse 30 minutes later than when I'm starving. But, that's because I overate. It just hit me a bit late, so I managed to get that last piece in before realizing how damn over stuffed I was ;)

There is definitely healthy chinese food. Unfortunately it might not be on the menu. You may have to ask for it and you will probably not like it.

Normally if I go chinese, I only get steamed rice, egg drop soup, and I might splurge and get a shrimp egg roll. I typically come out spending $3 or $4 and feel just fine afterwards.

My buddies will go in and get the buffet, eat a couple of plates full, spend $7 or $8 and be miserable for the rest of the day...

thats me man, i love ALL of it...at least I did. I hadnt had it for a few weeks (down from 3-4 times a week) now that i had it again, i'm realizing maybe i'm sick of it now.

only time i may eat it now is if i have a hangover, chinese is my hangover cure...but since i'm swearing off alcohol i guess i'll be having neither.
