latley my eyes start to itch like crazy, then the back of my throat starts to itch so i scratch it with my tounge (hard to explain). then right after that, my entire nasal passage and sinus closes up with mucus. When i blow my nose, some comes out, but its like super mucus that stayes in my sinuses and wont budge. There is also pressure after i blow my nose, i feel it in my sinuses. i also sneeze alot.

This is friggin crazy, im in my mid 20's, can I just develop allergies at this age out of the blue??

BTW, it gets the most severe when i mow the lawn.

ps.....i took benadryl and it did absolutly nothing.....any advice would be greatly appreciated, cause i NEVER had allergies.

Sounds like it. I'm 26 and didn't have them until I moved to AL. I thought it was a cold until my wife pointed out that it happened at the same time both springs. I used to think that allergies were for the weak. Now I know I'm just too pure for the filth in our world :)

It sounds like Allergies to me. I usually get nailed in May and August but early spring wasn't too bad this season so I'm hoping late summer goes easy on me. In my case, I don't think has anything to do with weakness, but more to do with air quality. My old office was terrible. I had a sinus infection and a migraine (it seemed) from Spring til labor day. The office I work in now is alot better.

Well, i lived in NY my entire life till I joined the military. I now live in New Mexico and the air quality should be better, no?


My father doesent have alergies either, what gives? What do you guys take to breathe at night, cause I cant sleep like this.

I would say definite allergies! I started getting them just last year, and I'm 31! The only time I *don't* have them is when it's very cold. However, I only have them in the morning for about 3 hours.

I wouldn't take benadryl- it'll just give you medicine head. Clean and dust your house thouroghly, then head to the doctor.
