Hello. :d_smile:
Back sometime before May 7, 2004 I decided it was time for a change. Having never really been physicaly fit, it sure would be nice to find out what I've been missing.
On May 7, I went in to the Campus Rec and got my Body Composition checked using a three site caliper check. I weighed in at 236, 33.1% bf, and 157.9 lbs lean body mass. The goal I set was to get to 210, aprox 25% bf by Aug 7, 2004. Here it is Aug 2, a few days early and I've reached my first goal! :claphigh:
I had my body composition checked again today by the same person, weighing in at 210 lbs, 24.9% bf, and 157.7 lbs lean body mass. The guy who did the test was very impressed, I was amazed.
This whole process has been really amazing, and I'd like to thank all the forum members. Watching everyones progress and seeing how positive everyone is has really helped me to stay motivated. Knowing that other people in similar circumstances have done it, means that I have no excuse not to make my goals. Also, big thanks to the man, John Stone. This is a great site.
Now that I've reached my first goal, it's time to set a new one.
I will shed 20 lbs of fat by November 2, 2004. Goal weight is 190, keeping LBM around 157.
Well, that's about all for now. Time to eat :eat:
