Seriously though, you've given no information. If you keep a food log and space out planned meals througout the day, then you shouldn't be ravenously hungry at any point in the morning, afternoon or evening. Just a little meal every few hours keeps the motor running at a solid fat-burning speed and improves your metabolism overall. And you're right - many people confuse hunger with thirst. You'll find that if you've eaten a meal and are still hungry, a few glasses of water will 'fill' that void and keep you going until your next meal. If you plan your meals through the day and keep a log, then look back at that log...you'll feel like you're eating all day long! Ken Bluestreak Wed, July 28th, 2004, 02:09 PM It's pretty safe to say, even without having seen your diet, that you need to re-evaluate it. I never get hungry on my diet... the previous one or SGX. I always know when it's time to eat (it's like the "low fuel" light comes on and tells me). Hunger is the enemy of a program. You'll make mistakes, give in to cravings, or just plain call it quits because the program makes you feel bad. Track your food. Find its caloric value for each meal and the total for your day. Calculate your BMR. Compare. Adjust accordingly. I guarantee that formula will keep you from getting hungry even on a cutting cycle. =Viking= Thu, August 12th, 2004, 05:54 PM I have found that Flaxseed oil helps curve my craving for sweets. I table spoon in a protien drink. rtestes Thu, August 12th, 2004, 08:30 PM Brush your teeth and tounge, three to four times a day, use listerine mouthwash. You should be eating those 5-6 meals a day, you are starving. guitarman Thu, August 12th, 2004, 11:23 PM If your just trying to curb those tendencies to binge on junk food drink cayyenne pepper or put it on your food (the real hot stuff) at regular meal times, If you can handle it, it will curb your appetite ShadowPenguin Fri, August 13th, 2004, 10:52 AM for those of us that can't eat as often as we'd like to, just build some willpower man. sometimes i'm so busy i dont have time to eat regularly so i might only get in 3 to 4 meals a day. it's all about what you have in your environment, for me i travel...ALOT. So i have access to gas stations (wawas and sheetz for you east coast people) you get a craving for chocolate just grab an apple or some other type of fruit. learn to cook man!! you'll be amazed what you can throw together in a matter of minutes that will be 100times healthier than the hershey bar you can wolf down in 2 seconds. :tu: |
