Another running thread... here the question I pose... I love love love to run lately. It is sooo relaxing up here in the foothills. Anyways, I also really don't want to lose the upper body definition ive worked and am working for right now. Just want people's opinions... can I keep the current amount of upper body mass if I plan on running 30-40 miles a week? Just searching for opinions since the answer obviously is variable. The last pic on the right is my unflexxed.

what i did, is get one of those heart rate monitors. the kind that has a belt and a watch and tells you how fast your heart rate is going. then just stay within 60-70 percent of your MHR and your definition should be just fine!
