Any suggestions on a good cd/tape player I can use for lifting/running? something that I guess would strap to the chest or waist that I wouldn't have to hold on to.

i'm so sick of the crap they play at the gym, its kinda hard to push it when you're listening to the captain and tenille :p

I would just grab an MP3 player. You can put way more music on an MP3 that you can fit on a cd or a tape. Plus they are about 1/8 of teh size and weight.

You want an MP3 player. Ipods are nice, but very expensive and the regular ones are also large/heavy. For around $100 you can get a very very small mp3 player which will hold enough music for an hour or two and you won't even realize it's there.

thanks guys, I just scored an MP3 player off of Ebay for $40.00, 64MB memory, headphones AND arm strap so I don't have to hold on to it when I run. :D

it'll do for now, my birthday is coming up in October and it's time to start dropping hints to the woman for a present.

GOOD GOD!! I dont know how i ever ran/lifted without this beautiful little device.

I had the best bi's/tri's workout i'ver ever had yesterday. Having my own tunes (Hatebreed, Ill Nino, 40 Below Summer, NonPoint) blasting in my ears not only motivates but helps me focus. Good stuff, thanks for the advice.
