I came across this forum yesterday and i can't tell you how much it has inspired me in just the past 24 hours. I have been orking out religously since the eginning of the new year and I was starting to lose hope real fast. That was until yesterday when I read John's amazing story. I am 25 y/o 6'6" tall, weigh in at 215 lbs. and I am at 13% body fat. I really want to get my bf down to the single digits. I have a new found hope in my workout and diet, seeing that with a little perserverance and determination it IS possible. I have one question to ask since I am hungry for knowlege (better that, than hungry for beef nachos :D ) When is the best time for my morning whey shake? I work out at 5:00 a.m. sn and back home by 6:30 a.m. Is it better before or after my workout. Before I leave I have a bowl of whole grain cereal with 1/2 cup fat free milk and then when I get home I have my shake. Is this right or am I backwards in my though process?
Just to let you in my life a little bit I thought I would share with you some happy news. My partner and I had a welcome addition to our family delivered the night before last and so without furher a due, here is Brigit.....

I wouldn't eat anything before your morning workout and they its best to have your protein shake within 45 mins post workout.
Congrats on the new edition to the family. I dont want to say it but its Sooo Cute! What breed is it? A friend of mine has an Anatolian Shepard puppy, its 7 months old and an absolute Giant. I'm 5'10 and if it stands on its hind legs its a coulpe of inches taller than me!
Keep us updated on its growth.

Brigit is a Miniature Schnauzer and she is 6 weeks old. Took her to the vet yesterday and she only weighs 3.5 lbs (hmmmmmm, wonder what her bf is????)

We're probably getting a little off topic here but I've got two Jackies at home, I've got one curled up on my lap now, she cant stand to be alone. How big do Miniature Schnauzers grow? I reckon Jackies are a great size but one day I'd like to get some giants. IMO a home isnt really a home unless youve got a couple of dogs around. I bet it wont take long before she almost dominates your life. lol. :)

She already does.....She has a friend too thatwe have had for five years. His name is Baxter and he is a black miniature schnauzer. They are good buds already...
To answer your question, miniature schnauzers, according to breed standard, get to be about 14" tall at the shoulder and weigh anywhere from 20-25 lbs.
