Hello everyone!

I stumbled on JS's website shortly after I decided that I had had enough. Around the same time, I found menshealth.com and texastodd.com, both great sites for men needing help losing weight. All of these, plus many others, have given me the drive by letting me know that it is possible to lose weight.

However, JS's website in particular gave me the idea that I credit with the majority of my motivation. I started a weight loss site and uploaded pictures. As many others have expressed, this was very difficult, but the burn of embarressment of knowing that my pictures were online for all to see allowed me to persevere where I might not have been able to in the past.

For all of those thinking about creating a site, or at least uploading pics to the web...DO IT! It's a great motivational tool. Everyone at work and in my family has seen my pics. It's a great tool!

My site address is in my signature if anyone is interested...

I started in Aug '03 @ ~285lbs
the last pic is early Dec '03 @ 239lbs
I am currently 228.5lbs and still working!

Here's my pics:

Check you out! Way to go man, looking great!

Welcome to the forums. Keep up the hard work and keep us posted!

(BTW, those images are pretty huge, you might want to make them smaller so our modem users can check them out, too).

Resized!

They were too large in dimensions, though the file sizes were pretty small. (40k and under)
However, I do tend to forget about d/u users, even though I can only connect at 28.8 and below at the house!

I also forget that I run my monitor at 1280x1024, so everything looks small!
