I don't know if any of you do dot drill cardio, but I find it to be quite effective at really getting my heart beating. If I was to do 5 of them, with a one minute break in between them, that is comparable to about 11 minutes of HIIT I would say. I would even go as far as to say it's better than that since your heart rate hits 100% about halfway through each drill. Is this an effective cardio workout? How many calories would one guestimate are going to be burned doing this? is this effectively going to stimulate my metabolism like HIIT does?

I used to do these when I played football, they are great and can def be considered HIIT.

I do HIIT occaisionally but would welcome a new routine. How do Dot drills work?
