View Full Version : water
The Third Man Tue, July 6th, 2004, 12:18 PM I have a problem, I'm not drinking nearly enough water. The reason is i just can't get used to the taste of water and often find myself adding a drop of cordial to make it taste better but really this isn't ideal.
so im wondering if anyone has some tips on how i can add a touch of flavour to my water without be detrimental to a healthy diet.
cheers for any help

Try a drink like Fruit 2 0 made by Veryfine (its diet flavored water). I dont think its a good idea to drink this in place of water, but maybe u can add a bottle to a pitcher of water to give it some flavor.

Ansett Tue, July 6th, 2004, 12:44 PM I like to add some lemon juice to my water, try that. Also, try some carbonated mineral water. Besides providing minerals, it satisfies the craving for something "fizzy" without the sugar of soda or chemicals of diet soda. Cool and refreshing. Also plain seltzer is good.
But by far the cheapest solution is water with a squeeze of lemon.
dobber38 Tue, July 6th, 2004, 01:15 PM Don't flavor every glass of water you drink-just every other one at first then try to wean yourself off the flavoring.
Eventually regular old water will be your drink of choice and if you take it 'plain' it'll be easier to replenish when you are on the go.

tensdanny Wed, July 7th, 2004, 01:52 AM what benefits does driniking roughly a gallon of water a day compared to hardly any offer in terms of cutting?
Duckman Wed, July 7th, 2004, 04:51 AM hydrated cells burn fat much more efficient than a dehydrated one. Besides, your whole body and brain works much better when you're hydrated :tu:
tensdanny Wed, July 7th, 2004, 04:46 PM i drink some water but not enough i think, by drinking more will that most likely speed up my cutting cycle?
dobber38 Fri, July 9th, 2004, 06:00 PM You should drinks tons of water whether you are cutting, bulking or maintaining, but to answer your question...if your stomach is full of water you won't be eating when you don't need to be. Also, what is sometimes mistaken for hunger is actually thirst-so drink up!
