im finished my 2nd month of cutting now, and ive shifted my focus from losing fat at all costs (we all start out a little too enthusiastic) to trying to gain lean mass without putting too much fat back on. im 6', 177lbs (down from 212), and approx 10%bf. i do 25 min HIIT every morning and train 3x a week, hitting each body part once a week. im going to lose the cardio on training days, and may switch to lower intensity cardio on the other days. ive made some changes to my diet and welcome any opinions from the nutritionally inclined out there...

CARDIO (7:30am) (Tue, Thurs, Sat)

MEAL 1 (8:30am)
one cup Fiber One cereal
3/4 cup skim milk
apple

MEAL 2 (11:00)
Egg Salad -
4 hard boiled eggs (2 yolks)
2 TBS Reduced Fat Mayo
1 slice of ham, or 2 strips of bacon

MEAL 3 (2:00pm)
Can of tuna
1 1/2 TBS Ranch Dressing

MEAL 4 (5:00pm)
4oz shrimp
4oz green veg - whatever i have in the kitchen
1/2 cup brown rice

TRAIN (6:30pm) (Mon, Wed, Fri)
PWO protein shake w/ banana

MEAL 5 (8:00pm)
8oz chicken breast
4oz green veg
1/2 cup brown rice

MEAL 6 (10:00pm)
1 can tuna
1 1/2 TBS Ranch Dressing

i drink about 3 cups of diluted iced green tea (unsweetened) every morning, then nothing but water all day long. the only supps i take are the protein shake and a couple caps of fish oil, usually with one of tuna cans. i always plan on making sunday my cheat day, then i end up eating the same stuff again anyway. call me crazy, but i actually like eating basically the same stuff at the same time every day. so, am i on the right track here? thanks

maybe some cottage cheese in the last meal. otherwise, it looks pretty good. congrats on the loss! very impressive for two months!

thanks tensdanny... i did lose alot quickly, but at 3-4 lbs per week i know i cost myself some muscle. oh well, now i know better, and im getting some back.

i tried the cottage cheese, and i just cant stomach it. plus im trying to avoid dairy as much as possible

i would add pre/Post-WO nutrition, then get some more carbs and protein within an hour of that, take advantage of that 2-3hour window of oppertunity

also you gotta add more healthy fats, i suggest some walnuts or a few tablespoons of flax/fish oil
