I get new information all the time, someone says thet leg extension is a MUST, others say it's not ergonomical(sp?) and that it will only be in the way for other exercises.
What is your impression, what do you suggest?

I like them, and they were a considerable factor in my decision on which bench to get. I would have problems coming up with enough different leg exercises if I didn't have them.

It depends on the type of exercises you want to do. I favor compound exercises and feel I can get a great leg workout doing squats, deadlifts (conventional and stiff leg), and lunges. Calf raises are the only isolation exercises I do in my leg workout. I used to do leg curls but find them unnecessary if I follow the above regimen.
