well, just adding up the cal's (1240) thats not enough calories, unless you weigh 120pounds, then you should probly eat more anyway :)

i eat basically the same thing everyday, doesnt seem to hurt, as long as its balanced, and enough food

whats your weight btw?

I think U guys are heading in wrong direction...
Ur body should recieve proteins and nutrients from
all kinds of sources (milk, eggs, veggies, wheat everything).

Just by eating chiken and whey U r body wont receive everything
it wants... (I 'THINK' from my research)

And U r supposed to alter your eating habbits in a away that you
will be comfortable with it for the rest of your life (that is why
occasional cheating is allowed), not just until U loose weight and
return back to old eating habits...

i weight 150lbs i'll be eating 1300-1600 calories a day.

i have a cheat meal every friday night. or if im out with friends and family for the night.

i re-did my meal plan. i'll be eating
24g Fat
47g Carbs
186g Protein
1200-1600 calories

I will eat a little more carbs and fat. I think 186g for protein is enough for now.

I eat nearly the same thing every day, with a few slight changes every now and then to add variety.

You probably could eat the same thing every day if it contained everything your body needs. But you have to make sure your diet is well-balanced

Sure, you'll get the basics, like fats and amino acids. But there are tons of micronutrients found if fruits and vegetables that you just can't get from vitamins, things like anti-oxidants and phytonutrients. Stuff you don't think about or know of.

I think you have to include greens and other veggies in your diet, and if you're able to, fruits.

this is short term for me. if i did this for years on end there maybe a problem.. but for 6-12 weeks.. with slight changes, i don see much of a problem as long as you are getting a balance of vitamins/minerals and antioxidents which i am btw

Dude that looks scary. You need some fruits and vegetables in there. [Granola Bars don't count :D ]

Are those chicken tenders deep fried? If so I would look for some other kind of chicken. Mix things up a little. I mean you could eat the same thing everyday but this isn't supposed to be like prison food.
You could probably eat like that for a few weeks but you will get bored and increase the likelihood of going on a binge.

Try some:
Shrimp
Tuna
Salmon
Fruits
Vegetables
Low Carb / Light Wheat Bread
Salad
Oatmeal
EggBeaters

Take a little more time and figure out like 2 weeks worth of meals. Then you can put them on little cards and have a meal lottery on Saturday. Pick the next 7 days worth of food cards and then go to the store and buy the stuff you need. :gl:
