What features should a decent stationary bike have? Going to purchase one ASAP, but I thought asking you guys what I should look for would be smart :)

With a cheapo bike you will still get a great workout, although some of them feel strange. IF you spend a little more you get all the bells and whistles which you may or may not need. The more exp. ones will last longer but in the long run, if you use a cheap or exp. bike, it doesn't matter...what matters is that you use it. Lindset February 1st, 2004, 12:48 PM I think I'll set my upper limit to $284... but most things are a lot more expensive here in Norway than in for example the US NME February 1st, 2004, 01:13 PM Some things to look for are good seat padding, moving handles (to allow your arms to do some work and, in turn, burn more calories) and adjustable tension (allowing you to make it tougher/easier to pedal at a whim). And make sure it really is "stationary." Some of them can move quite a bit, particularly when you're going all out doing HIIT.
