ok.. somehting is really fugged up with my body.

i had a cheat day on friday. the first one in about 3 months. I ate a LOT, and by a lot i mean.. about as much as i would normally eat (in calories) in a week, within a 24 hour period. it included Cake, pringles :D beer (too much), choclate, and a whole lot more.

prior to this, i was doing cardio 2 times per day or 1 time + weights (with a 7 hour delay) and i re-started doing this saturday night (just cardio)

prior to this also, i weighd (sp ?) 78 kilos and my BF% was 15.5

after, on saturday morning, i weighd 80.1 kilos, and my scale said my bf went to 18.1%.. im like, ok w/e its the sodium/beer/junk

so i let it sit, and get back with my program. today is monday night. and i weigh 80 Kilos, (i used the restroom big/small) and my bf% is still at 18.

it is starting to worry me, because it hasnt gone down. im thinking of doing something like a "APPLE only day" to give my body a anti-schock, but i am gonna ask the pros first  .

how long should i let this continue until i take some drastic step, like re-think my deit and excercise.. ? if that is even necesarry, but i am really worried and annoyed, and i swear im never gonna eat that much again!!!! :d_frown:.

If you're judging bodyfat with a scale, they're not known for being accurate - at all. When you cheat your body will hold water. This is normal. Up your water intake and the bodyweight will drop back down over the next few days.

And don't pay attention to the scale so much, go with the mirror more. And realize that you aren't going to get any fatter from one cheat day.

Thank you... The confirmation I needed. Since I started my superhydration routine, my weight has shot back up, but I'm still the same size as my initial weight loss. One days worth of pizza will make your metabolism out of whack, but it can easily be fixed in a day or two of getting back on track. The scale drives me insane, so I choose to look at how my clothes fit and how I feel in general. That's what really keeps me going..

If your diet and progress has been sound to this point I would not worry about that scale weight at all. If I start the day at say 170 because I've been dieting for a while and I decide to gourge that day I may way 173 at the beginning of the next day and it could take a couple of days to get back to the 170 :o

One cheat day won't hurt you that much - it's just water weight (although it is possible to overeat a pound worth of calories if you really try :D).
