View Full Version : This is yuck - what people eat.
HunkOLove Sat, January 31st, 2004, 09:08 PM Found this on the website of a peanut butter and food preserve maker.
User Tip:
Take 1 stick of butter or margarine and add 4 Tablespoons of your favorite %muckers Preserve and mix well. Spread over French Toast or on plain bread. - Carolena, Merritt, FL
MMMMMM - Why not put Mayo in your coffee while your at it.

Rockman Sun, February 1st, 2004, 01:24 AM I was channel surfing this afternoon and came across that cooking show with Emeril or something like that. Well, he was doing a show for Superbowl foods. He took a whole 20lb log of bologna, smothered it in mustard, rolled the log in brown sugar and really coated that baby. Then threw it in the over. Meanwhile he buttered a whole loaf of white bread and toasted it. Then he cut slices of baked bologna, at least 1/2" and slapped it between the bread. There was only one lady who wanted a piece. Hell, Emeril didn't even try it. Even my sister who eats everything and is morbidly obese was like damn!
MMMMMM - Why not put Mayo in your coffee while your at it.

did you see the onion's atkins food list? I wouldn't be surprised if stuff like this went on the market soon:
Taco Bell seven meat burrito
Ham-hock shake
Arby's ham and melted ham hamwhich
chicken-fried steak-fried chicken
Subway's 6-inch sandwhich-shaped all-meat object

James Lileks has compiled a book of horrendous recipes from cookbooks of the 50's, 60's and 70's. His website also includes Cookin' with Dr. Pepper (http://lileks.com/institute/gallery/drpepper/index.html) and plenty of other disgusting cookbooks (http://lileks.com/institute/gallery/spec.html). The photos make the food look anything but appetizing, and his commentary is hilarious.
John Stone Fri, February 6th, 2004, 05:51 PM No thread about disgusting foods would be complete without a link to "Weight Watchers recipe cards from 1974 (http://www.candyboots.com/wwcards.html)".
I'd rather clean a vomitorium with my tongue than try a single bite from any of these absolutely vile creations.

I'm sitting here at work and I seriously laughed so hard at this I cried. My cubicle neighbors were trying to figure out what I was doing. :D
leosump Fri, February 6th, 2004, 07:24 PM I saw that Swanson breakfast at the store and had a look at the "nutrition facts" and laughed so hard with my buddy that I had to buy it.
Now that XE review is way over the top..........but for the most part it was spot on. I can't believe I used to buy 10 Banquet chicken TV dinners and eat them in 5 days. :o
