hi. im not sure whether this thread should go in weight training or fat loss but basicaly i was wondering if you could give me an idea of what sort of training routine brad pitt would follow.

My aim is to get a really defined body. So obviously it would involve a lot of cardio but i don't want to look like some african long distance runner (no offence ;-) ) i would like to have some muscle hence the brad pitt body as my target.

I am 145 pounds, i think (10.5 stone), body fat around 12-13%, so really i need to add a bit of muscle but also lose about 3-4% body fat. with this info i was hoping someone could come up with a training routine to help me achieve my goal.

Many thanks

You are asking for something different than what you need. You need a routine that will improve your body, not a routine that Brad Pitt would follow. He has already gotten to that point, and while sometimes he may put on a little weight, reverting back is very easy with a personal cheff cooking every healthy meal and a little time in the gym.

Do you have any type of routine now and how long have you been at it, or are you just starting out? That has a great influence on what will work the best. If you hit the weights hard and smart, you don't need to do long distance running to reach your goals. Track work, sprints, and intervals can add a lot of benifit to most programs. Diet is also very important. You will need to eat the right amount of the right types of food.

What we need from you is more personal info, weight, height, experience. How much time you have to deveote to training, how much effort you are going to put into it. Is apperance you only objective? Detail your recent training history.
