So, according to my daily numbers I have lost almost 7 lbs. of fat since I started tracking my numbers on the 12th of January... that's nearly 3.2 kilos to you metric users. I've only been serious about the program for about 2 weeks now, but I feel great, and have started to notice many changes in my body for the better. I must say that I was a little discouraged earlier this week, as I have not seen the pounds/kilos melting away like many of you other user. I'm only down 5.5 pounds overall, but quickly realized that weight loss is not my main goal... I am really shooting for muscle gain and fat loss (started at 30.1%, now at 27.5%).

My question is: how much is 7 lbs. of fat? In other words, how much volume does a pound of fat occupy? I'd love to be able to look at a real object, like a large piece of fruit, or a 2 liter bottle, or whatever, and say to myself, "that is how much fat I used to have in my body, that isn't there anymore!" Maybe it sounds silly, but I am a very visual person, and would love to have that kind of motivation... every little bit helps :flex: .

The above site may help a bit. It would be better if the samples could be referenced next to something else. Good motivational photos. Just look at that every time you want fast food and I gaurantee you will find something else to eat.

Yup! I have a picture of a fat replica I keep around to remind me how disgusting fat is! (Couldn't justify actually buying a fat replica!)

1lb of fat is approximately SOFTBALL sized (it's a LOT of volume)
