My last post was april 25th. I mentioned my diet (which was HORRIBLE) and my goals. I came under a lot of fire for being a newbie etc...
Particularly due to swolecat's comment that i had no foods to retain muscle mass, i redid EVERYTHING, diet and workout.
Breakfast:
GNC 100% Whey Protein Shake w/1tbsp Metamucil Fiber (makes me feel a lot more full
2 Bananas (1 in the shake),
Snack (2 hours later):
17-20 pretzels, Motzarella String Cheese Stick/ Pretzels and tuna (6 oz)
Lunch: Chicken Breast from Walmart, Water, Veggie of the week (i change it up to keep my sanity... this week was squash)
Snack: Tuna or Detour Protein Bar
Dinner: Same as lunch usually. That or a protein shake.
My workouts seem to be a lot better with this diet and im always rather energetic. I do cardio everyday, 2 miles running and half hour on elliptical. Every other day i lift.
Currently I weigh about 194 lbs. Abs are FINALLY coming in, my arms and legs are cutting up but the bottom 2 abs have a little bit of chubber on them
I do have some problems however:
1) Im sick of chicken and tuna. Seriously. What else can i eat?
2) Ive been stuck @ 194 for about a week or so now. It has fluctuates up and down about 2 pounds but thats it. Whats the deal??
3) Im looking into creatine and i was curious if i could take it with milk in my morning shake. Or is that dumb to begin with?
