Hey guys,

I was wondering you can help me design a max-ot training routine. I did go through the PDF to get the ideas behind it and i'm willing to give it a try. The thing is that it seems to suggest many different programs, which one is right for me. I think there is a 12 week or 6 month program?

Background: 6 0' 145 pounds so I'm not big at all. I've been working out heavily for about 4 months and put on 25 pounds of muscle so far with only protein. My first workout was basic, back/bi's, chest/tris,/ legs/. I did rotated this cycle ever 3 days. Then about 2 month ago, Swtich to oppossing muscle group workout, rotating muscle groups every set. Back/chest, arms/ legs

So what max ot is best for me. I'm in college so time is no problem. I like going to the gym everyday, but i understand that they say you need 5 days rest before the muscle group is hit again. Soo....
Which muscle groups on what days.
How long do i stick to that routine before i switch it up, it seem like they switch it up every four week.

For ex. The 6 month routine starts with split days for bi/trips
but the first rountine they introduce in the pdf has arms on same day. Which is better and which should i start with and how many weeks before i switch.

Also if i start to take creatine, when is the best time to take it, before or after workout.

Thanks

Peter

Hey guys,

Yeah i was actually 117, now i'm 142 to be exact, so yeah 25 pounds in 4 months no joke. What i did was eat everything i saw at the dining hall and work out 24/7, but now i wanna get bigger, and i neeed a new routine, so Max-ot might be it. But.. anyone have any answers to the questions i posted

haha - yeah
- I wanted the "eye popping" smilie for my post... :jumping:

anyway - if you really gained 25 pounds in four months, keep doing what you are doing... :p
because for natural gains - that is off the scale as far as I know...

how much fat do you figure you gained?
how closely did you monitor your diet?
how were your "size gains"?

Well i never did one of those body fat measurements, but prob little. I'm pretty lean now. Diet pretty much consisted of anything that said protein or carb, and since I was at the gym 7 days a week lifting, most of the fat prob burned off. Sizewise, 117 for 6 foot is pretty damn small, stick like arms, now i'm more normal size, but defined but not really cut, but I'm looking for 15 more pounds before semester ends in April. So if you could really give me some other advice I would appreciate it. I guess just don't figrue my gains into your thinking, and what max-ot muscle group split would you recommmend, i don't like taking days when doing absoluting nothing.

Thanks

Get started on the 6-month program. I'm on my 5th week and up 7lbs of lean mass.
