For the March 2011 TSM I've selected Juan Jose Coll Garcia (forum member "Juanjensen"). After coming across my web site (www.johnstonefitness.com (http://www.johnstonefitness.com)) and checking out my transformation pictures, Juan decided, "If John can do it, then I can do it too!" While Juan is not active on the forums (English is not his first language), he has been a daily reader of my web site for many years. Why did you decide to make a transformation?
Because I see your web (www.johnstonefitness.com (http://www.johnstonefitness.com))!!! Was the inspiration that I need to change my life.
What was your diet and training like when you first started?
I started walking (fast) 60 minutes at day and eating only rice with tuna, fatless chicken, and proteins by night.
What were your initial goals?
My objective was to lose 10/15 kg (my weight in 2004/2005 was 110/115kg)
What was a typical day's diet and supplement intake for you?
8:00 am
1 Animal Pak1 Alpha Lipoic Acid Tab
1 C.L.A. Tab
1 Tribulus Terrestris Tab
2 bread slices with sugarless jam
1 banana
1 fruit juice
1 coffee with non-fat milk and saccharine
1 yogurt 0% fat
11:00 am
1 fruit juice
50 gr rice
80 gr tuna oil-free
2:00 pm
1 Alpha Lipoic Acid Tab
1 C.L.A Tab
100 gr rice
160 gr tuna oil-free
1 expresso coffee with saccharine
3:00 pm
60 minutes cardio
60 minutes of weight training
5:00 pm (after gym)
60g Protein Shake
1 tsp Creatine
1 tsp Glutamine
9:00 pm
1 Alpha Lipoic Acid Tab
1 C.L.A. Tab
150 gr non-fat chicken with salad
At first I only take L-Carnitine (before cardio) for better fat burning. When my weight was 80kg I start taking a lot of supplements like Isolate Protein Shakes, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Animal PAK, Glutamine, Creatine, Tribulus Terrestris and C.L.A.
What was your training like?
I only train 5 days at week:
Monday: 60 minutes Cardio, 45-60 minutes Chest
Tuesday: 60 minutes Cardio, 45-60 minutes Arms (Biceps, Triceps etc...)
Wednesday: 60 minutes Cardio, 45-60 minutes Back, abs.
Thursday: 60 minutes Cardio, 45-60 minutes Shoulder
Friday: 60 minutes Cardio, 45-60 minutes Chest
Saturday: Only diet
Sunday: Free diet (with supplements)
What obstacles did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
Not too much, when I see the changes along the first month.. The rest was very easy...
How has your life changed?
WOW!!! SOOOO MUCH!!! I think now I can say: "I have see the 2 faces of the life" (understand that?)
I feel better, more healthy, more happy...
How did John Stone Fitness and/or the JSF Forums help you?
100%!!! I start for that, and when I need inspiration at any time...
What advice would you offer to others?
NEVER SURRENDER, if you want... YOU CAN!!! :)
What are your future plans?
Now I'm weight 78kg (171.6 lbs) with a little bit more fat that i want... Now I try to get 75-76kg with the minimum fat percentage.
Any closing thoughts?
I wish to get my new goals for this summer, then I will send more photos... Thank you John!!! and thank you all!...
