Looks like a nice setup. One question for you, in the post you talked about not knowing exactly how much weight it can handle on the T joint threads. Have you thought about soldering/welding the joints just to increase strength a bit? I'm not sure of the exact logistics of it, but I would think it'd be possible.

Thanks Agon. Yes, I thought about welding it together, but I don't have the equipment to do that yet. I'm not at a point in my training where I'm lifting so heavy as to be very worried about it now, but over time maybe I'll try to learn how to weld. I'd really like to make myself a trap/hex bar, and I think welding skills will be a necessity for that. Have you seen how much they charge for those things? - Joe
