Ive been cutting for a bit trying to lower bf and become definged. I take in about 1800 cal daily, mostly protein and totally avoid sugar. (bad cards etc)

I havent been gaining too much in weight rooms. Is this becuae i need to lift more often ( i do 1/3 days) or i need to lift harder??

You won't gain too much (if anything) while cutting. Newbies to the weight room can lose BF as well as gain some muscle but that ends after a while. Typically, you either cut or bulk. You want gains in the weight room? Eat and eat. You need protein and carbs. Trying to cut? One eats less and doesn't make the normal gains one sees but the BF drops.

FYI, you should try to train 3 times per week and always train hard.
