This site is running extremely slow for me (9:00 am), which makes it almost unusable. I hope this is only temporary, as this is my first attempt to view the new site. I'm currently at work and have fiber running to the server room, it's doubtful the bottleneck is on my end.
On another note, may I suggest removing the "my" from all of link titles on the left navigation. It seems redundant.

The site uses lots of Ajax and Javascript, and runs best on a fairly modern system. What are your computer system's specs and what browser are you running?
The server loads are low and the site sits on a dedicated DS3 with plenty of bandwidth available.
Another possibility is that there is some temporary bottleneck somewhere between you and the server.

I've tried both Chrome and IE8 on an i7 processor with 4G of ram. I'm certain it's not my machine, however it could be somewhere else along the network trace. The site seems to be running a little smoother at the moment, however page loads are still a little sluggish.
Allow me to make a suggestion (with a decade of experience in web application development) which would help with the loading time:
-move the 1800+ plus lines of embedded css into an external style sheet. additionally, this could be compressed close to 40%.
